Barney Bear è un personaggio a cartoni animati creato da Rudolf Ising per la Metro Goldwyn Mayer, la stessa casa di produzione di Tom & Jerry.
È un orso antropomorfo, indolente e sempre assonnato. Nei fumetti italiani di Tom e Jerry veniva chiamato Pappalardo.
